How long will it take to learn an instrument?Music is a lifelong endeavour! Everybody learns differently and has different goals. We encourage you to work with our experienced instructors who can help you develop a plan to achieve your goals.

Can I learn multiple instruments or styles of playing?Yes! We encourage you to explore, experiment, and have fun! MusiCurate students may schedule lessons with any of our experienced teachers, on any instrument, at any time they are available.

What instruments do you offer lessons for?We boast a fantastic staff of professional musicians ready and willing to teach you almost any instrument you can think of! If your desired instrument isn't listed on our site, let us know and we'll promptly connect you with a teacher. Instruments that you can learn through MusiCurate include piano, band instruments (guitar, banjo, ukulele etc.), orchestral instruments (cello, bassoon etc.), and more! We even have highly qualified teachers ready to teach you subjects like composing, conducting, and all aspects of music technology.

Do you ever offer discounts on your membership?We offer a fantastic loyalty program that allows members of MusiCurate to earn and redeem points with every purchase! Visit our Loyalty Page for more info.

Do you offer refunds for unused lessons?Our memberships can all be cancelled anytime at no additional cost or obligation to our members. The price remains the same whether all available lessons are used or not. We do not issue refunds or prorate pricing for unused lessons, whether purchased individually or as part of a membership.

Do you offer free trials?We offer one free 10 minute trial lesson per family. This gives you the opportunity to try out our online booking system and the MusiCurate video lesson format, as well as have your questions answered in a face-to-face conversation with no additional commitment.

How can I lock-in the same teacher and lesson time every week?To lock-in a recurring weekly lesson time, send an email to music@musicurate.com with your preferences and availability and we will work with you and your preferred teacher to find and lock-in a suitable recurring lesson time for you.

What if my teacher isn't available at my preferred lesson time?You're free to schedule lessons with any teacher for any available time slot. In fact, if you choose to take all of your weekly lessons for a given month in one week instead of scheduling them weekly, that's your prerogative. As always, you can also continue to learn independently through our courses and downloadable learning materials. These are available to access any time, from anywhere!

In fact, if you choose to take all of your weekly lessons for a given month in one week instead of scheduling them weekly, that's your prerogative. If you're on vacation and don't have access to an instrument, you could use scheduled session time to simply chat with your instructor, or double up on lessons when you return from vacation. As always, you can also continue to learn independently through our courses and downloadable learning materials. These are available to access any time, from anywhere!
