Ben Lahring is the founder of MusiCurate. He has  20+ years of teaching experience and is a Certified Teacher with the Royal Conservatory of Music.

 

Ben has been praised for his "absolutely beautiful" interpretations (Liona Boyd), and his “gift of playing the intention behind the music” (William Beauvais, composer). His latest album, Driftwood, has been lauded as "a work of originality and shimmering beauty" (Vivascene).

 

Ben has taught and performed all over the world. He held a weekly performance residency in Sydney, Australia, for over a year and was a regular fixture in the NYC guitar scene before moving to Canada. Ben earned his Master of Music at the University of Calgary and spent several years working as a church music director.

Currently based in Calgary, Ben actively balances his passion for music through performing, composing, and teaching.
